Sebagaimana dikutip dari tribunnews, berita duka datang dari penyanyi Melly Goeslaw. Kakak Melly, Thomas Albert Goeslaw atau akrab disapa Tommy, telah meninggal dunia. Kabar tersebut diketahui dari sebuah unggahan di Instagrampribadi Melly Goeslaw, @melly_goeslaw, Senin (30/10/2017).

Dalam keterangan unggahan, istri Anto Hoed itu menjelaskan bahwa sang kakak sudah tak merasakan sakit lagi. Melly juga meminta maaf kepada warganet akan segala kesalahan Tommy semasa hidupnya.

Tommy ini adalah kakak saya paling baik, walau keadaan hidup tidak terlalu ramah pdnya, tp tak pernah sekalipun dia merepotkan keluarganya.

Dalam keadaan kanker hati stadium 4 , perut buncit, dan badan tinggal tulang, dia dtng ke rumah nyetir sendiri gk mau repotin org lain, dia datang mengabarkan penyakitnya pd saya dan mas Anto.

Saat itu sy merasa ini saatnya saya mengurusnya sebisa dan semampu saya.

Alhamdulillah Allah mengizinkan dan Tomy skrg sdh pergi dengan tenang tanpa rasa sakit lagi.

Terimakasih utk kasih mu selama ini sama saya Tom .

Masa masa kita dulu, walau terputus putus , tidak akan saya lupakan .
