Hadis daripada al-Harith bin Muslim daripada ayahnya berkata; Nabi S.A.W bersabda,
“ Apabila kamu selesai menunaikan solat Subuh, maka bacalah sebelum kamu berkata-kata: ‘Allahumma ajirna minan nar’ tujuh kali, maka sekiranya kamu meninggal pada hari itu, Allah menulis bagimu perlindungan daripada api neraka. Dan apabila kamu selesai menunaikan solat Magrib, maka bacalah sebelum kamu berkata-kata: ‘Allahumma ajirna minan nar’ tujuh kali, maka sekiranya kamu meninggal pada malam itu, Allah menulis bagimu perlindungan daripada api neraka.” (Riwayat Abu Daud dan an-Nasa’i)
